Woods ride - 12th April 08
I thought Wootsy cracking his nuts on the back tire was pretty damn funny. Karma strikes again as next run my chicken legs worringly give way under impact lending the fruit and two veg to the double wall SWAMPTHING at 20mph, I must say I wouldn't recommend it. The swampthing is pretty much a mini motocross tyre with a super tacky compound for extra grippage. Eyes waterin I fumbled through the rest of the section and somehow made it out
Next up was the 'Big One', it was the first thing we ever built. A monster 30ft+ top to bottom, short super steep rolling section with some vert which gives a good 8ft drop in the middle. Half the challenge is getting to the top of the bastard, not easy with a 40lb bike on your back :D This is Tucks domain, big steep sketchy roll ins.

See I'm super scared of heights, at the top of the stairs I go wobbly lol so this section really shits me up, from the top it looks like your riding off a cliff to a flat landing, its time for my 'count down from 10 then go no matter what' technique.

Time to have a quick blast on a really sweet roll out from a sketchy run in
Steep and sweet, amazing how even on full sus bikes the trials really helps, nice trialsy roll out technique needed here otherwise your pretty much guaranteed either go over the bars, or land flat from 18ft up, either way your not ridin home! :D
Two hours later after loosing Mike for ages, ridin a nice bit of downhill and XC, a moto trials style comp to ride through a ridiculously deep mud trench and riding some really cool river sections its all over. Time to return home and take the mandatory bollockin of the respective women for bein so late, missing dinner, bringing shit loads of mud and the bike into the house bla bla bla They love it really :D
